Short, honest, and in plain English

Wandelo Terms of Service

Effective: August 10, 2026 · Closed beta

Welcome to the Wandelo beta. These terms are the deal between you and Wandelo. By creating an account, you agree to them. The privacy policy is part of this deal too — it explains what we do (and never do) with your data.

1. The beta, honestly

Wandelo is a work in progress. Features will change, break, and occasionally disappear. We may need to reset progress if we find a bug in the journey engine — if we ever do, we'll say so plainly in the app. We may suspend or end the beta at any time.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 (or the age of legal majority where you live) and use one account, for yourself, with real information. Health data is personal — accounts aren't for sharing.

3. Nothing is for sale, and nothing you earn is worth money

This section used to describe a token economy and a shelf of partner rewards. Both were removed from the app, so both are removed from here. What is true today:

If any of that ever changes, the change will be labelled on the thing itself in the app, and these terms will be updated before it ships.

4. Fair play

Everything in Wandelo rests on steps being real. Manually entered health data never counts toward your progress — that's built in, and the app shows those steps separately rather than quietly dropping them. Attempting to spoof, fabricate, or automate step data, exploit bugs to manufacture progress, or use multiple accounts may have that progress reversed and may close your account. If you find a bug instead of exploiting it, we'd love to hear about it: hello@wandelo.app.

5. Not medical advice

Wandelo is a walking app, not a medical service. Nothing in the app is medical advice, and step goals are not exercise prescriptions. Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, and use the in-app injury pause if you need a break — paused weeks never count against you.

6. Your account and your data

You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from Profile → "Delete my account" — deletion is immediate and permanent, and everything you collected along the way goes with it. The privacy policy covers everything else about data.

7. The app is provided as-is

To the maximum extent the law allows: Wandelo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (the beta is free, so: $100).

8. Ending things

You can leave at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms — with progress reversed only for violations of the fair-play rules above.

9. Changes and the law

We may update these terms during the beta; material changes will be announced in the app, and continuing to use Wandelo after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
